Description

This semi-sweet red wine, made from 100% Saperavi grapes, originates from the Kindzmarauli microzone in Kakheti, Georgia. Located at 250-300 meters above sea level, the vineyard benefits from alluvial soils rich in clay and limestone, paired with a continental climate of hot summers and cool winters. Grapes are hand-harvested in mid-September, with only the finest selected for production.

Vinification involves controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 25-28°C, with extended skin contact for 15-20 days to extract vibrant color and flavor. The wine is aged for 12 months in stainless steel tanks to retain its freshness and emphasize the varietal character of Saperavi.

The wine presents a deep, dark ruby hue with garnet reflections. Aromas of ripe blackberry, black cherry, and plum dominate the nose, leading to a full-bodied palate with a well-structured, balanced sweetness and refreshing acidity. Flavors of black fruits, including blackberry, blackcurrant, and dark cherry, are complemented by a long, smooth finish with well-integrated tannins and lingering notes of dark fruit.
