Description
This pét-nat is crafted from a 16-hectare coastal vineyard near the River Plate estuary, characterized by calcareous white and brown clay soils. The vineyard follows sustainable farming practices, with no insecticides, dry no-till farming, and minimal intervention viticulture. Grapes are hand-harvested and co-fermented using the méthode ancestrale, with spontaneous fermentation and no added sulfites (total sulfites: 22mg/l). The wine is unfiltered and aged for six months in the bottle before release, showcasing its natural character.
A blend of 60% Gewürztraminer, 30% Chardonnay, and 10% Moscato Bianco, this pét-nat is savoury and complex, with bready, yeasty notes complemented by layers of rose petal, pear, and citrus. Textured, frothy, and full of personality, it received 92 points from Tim Atkin MW.
