Matošević Winery, established in 1996 by Ivica Matošević, is a pioneering family estate in Istria, Croatia. Ivica, a self-taught winemaker, shifted from pursuing a PhD in agriculture to winemaking, driven by passion and curiosity. The 'Alba Antiqua' Malvazija Istarska 2018 is a testament to this commitment. Crafted from 100% Malvazija Istarska grapes, this wine presents a straw yellow hue with aromas of apricot, complemented by spicy and floral notes. On the palate, it is rich with flavors of acacia flowers and honey, balanced by a clean minerality.
