Description
This dry white wine, crafted predominantly from Goruli Mtsvane (85%) with a touch of Chinebuli (15%), originates from the Kartli region of Georgia. The vineyard is situated at an altitude of 400-500 meters above sea level, with alluvial soils composed of clay and limestone. The region’s continental climate, marked by significant day-to-night temperature variations, helps preserve the grapes’ natural acidity and aromatic intensity. Hand-harvested in mid-September, only the finest grapes are selected for this elegant and expressive wine.
Vinification emphasises freshness and varietal character, with controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 15-18°C. A short skin contact of 6-8 hours enhances the wine’s texture, followed by six months of aging in stainless steel tanks to maintain its crisp and vibrant profile.
In the glass, the wine displays a bright pale straw hue with greenish reflections. The nose is intense and complex, offering aromas of fresh green apple, white peach, and citrus blossoms. The palate is crisp and refreshing, dominated by flavors of green apple, white peach, and lime, with subtle tropical fruit and herbal undertones. A delicate minerality adds depth, leading to a long, clean finish with lingering citrus and mineral notes.
This is a beautifully balanced and refreshing wine, showcasing the elegance of Goruli Mtsvane and the unique terroir of Kartli.
