Description
This wine is crafted from a 17-hectare coastal vineyard in Uruguay, where the River Plate estuary meets the Atlantic Ocean. The calcareous white and brown clay soils support sustainable and minimal intervention viticulture, with no insecticides and dry no-till farming. Grapes are hand-harvested and co-fermented for 25 days at 14°C in stainless steel, resulting in an unfiltered, vibrant wine.
The blend of 60% Gewürztraminer, 30% Chardonnay, and 10% Moscato Bianco creates a captivating aromatic profile with ginger and rose petal notes. It boasts chalky minerality, dense texture, and intense pear and citrus flavors. Scored 92 points by Tim Atkin MW in his Uruguay report 2023.
