Description
This wine comes from a 12-hectare coastal vineyard in Uruguay, situated where the River Plate estuary meets the Atlantic Ocean. The calcareous clay soils support a sustainably farmed vineyard using no insecticides and dry no-till farming, with minimal intervention practices. Hand-harvested grapes undergo spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel without oak influence, producing an unfiltered, fresh Barbera that reflects winemaker Pablo Fallabrino’s Piedmont heritage.
The wine is herbaceous and fruit-driven, featuring aromas of blackberries, cherries, and plums, with spicy, savory, and balsamic nuances. Its lively palate is low in tannins, offering a bright and approachable style. Recognized with 91 points by Decanter.
